2015 Awards

The Melksham Young People's Awards 2015 Winners

The 2015 awards saw over 200 people packed into the Melksham Assembly Hall to celebrate the amazing achievements of scores of fantastic young people from across the Melksham Community Area.

This year we saw over 70 young people nominated for awards and a great night was had by all as host Ethan Smith handed out awards to our winners and kept the audience entertained with his wit and humour.

The hall was buzzing with excitement and the Christmas lights in the hall added a bit of magic to the celebrations.  The evening kicked off with the brilliant street dancers from In2Sport who thrilled the audience with their dance moves.  Kim, the dance coach, said "The children and myself thoroughly enjoyed the evening and are all still buzzing from it!"

All nominees were celebrated and congratulated on the night with 13 awards being presented to individuals and teams - truly inspirational.  See photos and read more about our winners below.

The evening celebrations closed with a performance from two extremely talented local young people, Maisie Marchant and James Wilkins.

Congratulations to all of the young people who were nominated - you are all AWESOME!
