Get Involved

Young Melksham is a small charity based in the market town of Melksham in Wiltshire. We rely on a small staff team and the amazing collective of volunteers to deliver the wide range of services we offer.

We are funded entirely by grants and donations along with our own efforts to pay for our services and always welcome any contributions. We are also always looking for new volunteers to join our team to help grow and develop our offer.

Young Melksham is volunteer-led and relies on the expertise and commitment of our dedicated Volunteers. Our Volunteers are key members of our staff group providing vital front-line services to young people. There are a number of ways that children, young people and adults can volunteer at Young Melksham:

Children and young people can get involved in helping Young Melksham continue to develop its services, interview staff, help in fundraising and work with us to improve our publicity, including via our Participation project.

We also work in partnership with other organisations to offer volunteer opportunities to children and young people, including Melksham Town Council, National Citizens Service, etc. If you have ideas for partnership working, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. Make a donation

We are a small local charity working to improve the conditions of life for the children and young people of Melksham.

Your generosity will provide Melksham young people with opportunities to thrive, develop and participate.

It will also help us to continue to fund our current projects and work with our partners on longer term and sustainable projects so that the Melksham young people will have the opportunity to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals.

Whether your donation is a one-off contribution towards the cost of delivering our work, or a regular donation it is valued.

Because good youth work works.
